BEEF AND STRAW MUSHROOM STIR-FRY

Ingredients Direction
500 grams beef sirloin, cut into strips
1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated (3 grams)
1/2 cup oyster sauce (120 grams)
2 tablespoons soy sauce (30 ml)
2 tablespoons palm oil
1 piece onion, chopped (50 grams)
1 piece carrots, cut into strips (60 grams)
1 cup fresh bamboo shoots, sliced and blanched (optional (200 grams)
1 can straw mushrooms, halved (400 grams)
2 tablespoons cornstarch dissolved in 1 cup water (30 grams)
1 tablespoon sliced spring onions (15 grams)

1. Marinate beef in ginger, oyster sauce and soy sauce for at least 30 minutes. 

2. Heat palm oil in a pan. Sauté onion and marinated beef. Cook until meat turns brown.

3. Add carrots, bamboo shoots, and straw mushrooms. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes. Pour in cornstarch mixture and cook until sauce thickens.

4. Transfer to a platter and top with spring onions before serving.
